Aperture

So I have been learning about my camera and what it's capable of doing.  One of my main goals has been to put my camera in "M" or  Manual Mode.  It's been a scary leap from my safe Automatic and "semi-automatic" Modes.  Things are often out of focus, or not quite right.

Exhibit A:

Baby in focus, Grandma not so much.

Exhibit B:

Grandma looks good, blurry Baby.

Exhibit C:

 Better.

Exhibit D:

 Bingo!!

I set my camera to a higher f-stop, or lowered the aperture.

 This picture was taken at a coffee shop after church on Sunday.  It was Julie's first Mother's Day!
