We have a tradition at our house (wherever that house may be) on the morning of the first day of school. We always go outside in front of the house to take pictures for the scrapbook. The weather seems to always be sunny and beautiful, the sky bright blue, making those new backpacks or tennis shoes almost shine. The kids are always full of excitement and a little nervousness, so those pictures are almost always great. They just capture that feeling of going back to school, off to a fresh beginning.
